Ablaye Moussa, a farmer at the end of a day picking cotton. Cotton is grown in open fields and there is no shade from the sun so the work is hot. The labour of cotton picking in this region is done traditionally as a favour that is paid with food and drink and reciprocity. Land is owned individually in small plots.
